Any one else know any more techniques to giving shots to a 4 year old?

I wish I did. I was four when I was diagnosed with Type 1, and my mom and dad gave me shots. I remember crying sometimes. I remember hoping they'd forget. I don't know what my mom did to make it okay to be a part of my daily routine, but it worked. I'm 53 now so please have hope about diabetes.
