I have a meter that is several years old. The standard solution that came with it is expired. How do I check my meter?

I suppose that you could buy new solution, but I have never used it to check the accuracy of my meter. You will most-likely find that the accuracy of meters is somewhere between 10% to 20% off. If your test strips are current, I would just use the meter. If you are using the same meter all of the time, the accuracy really shouldn't matter that much since it's always wrong by the same amount.
