Anyone taking Januvia
Dr put me on Januvia (100 mg) I've only taken it a couple of days but my BG is still very high (228). Do I need to continue a few more days to see if it starts to work? Does anyone know how long it takes to get it in your system? I'm really new to this. I tried Metformin but to many tummy issues.

I've been on it about three weeks now it takes about two weeks to start seeing your numbers change , however you still have to watch your carbs carefully, my glucose stays high even with this medication if I'm not counting carbs carefully !! Good luck to you

I like Junuvia and have felt no side effects. The problem is it didn't lower my BSL as much as my doctor wants. I added Glipizide which I've taken several years. It works well for me. After adding Glipizide to Januvia, my BSL lowered even more.

I took 20 mg for a few months. My BG was steady 74-103 most days (but I think my Dr is wrong I don't think I'm diabetic at all, he likes to push pills.)
I had no side effects for a while then my feet started hurting (I walk every day 3-5 miles,) which never happened before. I'm taking a very small dose of Glupizide 2.5mgs, and I have no side effects and no foot pain. Also it's much cheaper than Januvia |
