Default Trulicity injection

Hello I was wondering if anyone has used or is using trulicity injection. It's for type 2 diabetes injectable once a week. I have been on lantus and the fast acting insulin for a long time. I think trulicity would be a good change.
I would really appreciate your comments. Thanks

Hi Veronica,

I have been injecting Trulicity for about 8 weeks. No problems, really. Before that I injected Byedureon for about 12 weeks

It's hard to say how effective it's been, because I also take Metformin , farciga, and invokana

My A1c has gone from 12.4 to 6.4 in 3 months, and still falling toward normal levels. I have seen much improvement and weight loss for me.

You should read the forum on GLP-1 Agonists: Byetta. My take away was that these drugs should NOT be taken longer term, less than a year.

I can only say that I believe my Doc has done okay by me. I will tell him I don't want to take Trulicity for much longer. Based on the fear of pancreatic damage that has been reported.

Good luck!
