Default Help, Please!Losing too much Weight😕

I am 5'5 and was at 148 (good weight for me) in May 2015. Also, in May my pre diabetic was discovered at 5.7...I went full force started dieting, cutting Ted meat, eating fish 1 to 2 times a week, eating salads no dressing no sweets/sugar/breads...by July I dropped to about 138...I was also power walking almost daily 2/3 miles...I stopped the walking and now I do it for 30 minutes every other day. I have reintroduce lien red meat, but still watch what I eat..I have continue to lose weight. I am at129???this is way too skinny! Do you lose this much weight when pre diabetic? Or diabetic?i want to stay at 140/143..is anyone else having this issue?please input. How can I put on some pounds? I was never heavy to begin with, so I know it's in my genes the diabetes...I have a friend who's been diabetic for16 years and has not lost so much weight. Where is my food going to?thank you😕

How many carbs per day do you eat? Is it possible that you have a hyper active thyroid?

Have you considered adding healthy fat to replace the carb/sweet calories you have cut out?

I haven't figured out where I will end up yet (I'm still researching), but there is a growing body of evidence that a ketogenic, or at least low carb moderate protein diet (with the remainder of the calories to fuel your body coming from healthy fats) is an effective way to treat diabetes and - if you are currently avoiding fats (it sounds as if you may be), adding them back in may solve your weight loss problem.
