Default Good morning

60 year old married gma soon to be great gma , RN diagnosed in 1998 in denial until 2 years ago. Angels must have been watching over me! I take 1000mg metformin and 5 mg glipizide daily. My morning fasting sugars have been averaging 140 to >160 lately and I am a little concerned. My A1c is due soon and I'm anxious to get those results. Happy to have found this place and all of you for support

Welcome to the Forum!

Read through the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, when you get a chance, if you have not already done so. These threads will most-likely help you a lot. Self education is one of the keys to successful management of your diabetes, along with a healthy / sensible diet and exercise. Basically, diabetes requires a life-style change for the better. Good luck with your control and management.
