Thumbs up Hello Everyone

I'm 58, M, and I've just been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I've gotten over my an initial period of moping and denial. Now I'm tackling this decease head on. I've been educating myself and adjusting my diet and lifestyle, so far so good.

I like the GB app, but would like to know if it's possible to maintain two simultaneous logs? One for my doctor who is interested in the fasting data and one for myself where I'm capturing more data points to better understand the impacts of different food and exercise on my glucose levels.

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the Forum!

Read through the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, when you get a chance, if you have not already done so. These threads will most-likely help you a lot. Self education is one of the keys to successful management of your diabetes, along with a healthy / sensible diet and exercise. Basically, diabetes requires a life-style change for the better. Good luck with your control and management.

There is no way to maintain two simultaneous logs, without creating two separate account. This would be double work, inputting the logs. If it were me, I would just maintain the one log, and send the Doctor what he needs. This can be done in a couple of different ways. See the "GB Help" thread and look for the Doctor's Report section.

Thanks Dan, yeah I was thinking it would be best to handle it by post processing the data once I export to excel. I had assumed that the adding a log feature would create a separate independent log.

Cheers,

BJ
