Hello, I'm newly diagnosed about 3 wks ago. I'm on 100 mg of Invokana which seems to be working ok. I also cut back hard on carbs - no bread, pasta, etc. I've lost about 10 pounds so far. My ng runs highest in the morning, and this week I've seen readings as low as 84 before dinner - tonight in fact. Well , I decided to try Nutrisystem and just received a months worth of meals. They seem to be MUCH higher in carbs than I was hoping for - tried an entree for dinner and 45 mins later bg is 154 - really high compared to my typical post meal. Has anyone tried this and what is your opinion. I'm thinking about trying to return it. Thanks for any input on this! I'm disappointed since I was really looking for a convenient option. Btw I need to lose about 75 more pounds.
