Default I am a newbie

Hi I was just diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. I am on 4 needles a day. I am an active, fit vegan so this came as a huge shock for me. I am having trouble with not eating enough and missing snacks and being vegan is hard. Any advice would be great. Thank you

Welcome to the Forum!

Yes, having Diabetes is difficult enough without having to deal with the vegan diet. May I suggest more fruits for the natural sugar carbs and more potatoes for the vegetable carbs. Good luck with your diet.

Regardless of whether you are a religious person or not, do a Google search on "Daniel Fast Recipes". I am reasonably sure that you will find a lot of vegan friendly recipes for meals and snacks there.
