I'm an Animas user, and I was thinking of switching, but I need global accessibility because I travel to Asia at least once a year. Will Omnipod give me the backup and insurance Animas will?

I really love the Omnipod. Far less pendulum swinging bg results. Happy with it. People think it cool(for once) as the Pdm tech is
Great without having an appendage dangling like the minimed. No scars. Totally flexibility in placement. I work out a lot often sweaty competitive sports and it stays on! Omnipod has really got the most modern approach. Failure rate is marginal these days.

To the Animas user. Omnipods are tossed out every 3.5days. That's your only consumable. So bring lots on your travels. Plus insulin and testing supplies of course. I find their customer service greatly improved.
