Anyone else have problems with Lantus working for them. Doctor just put me on this but it doesn't seem to have any effect on me. Only been on it a week.

If will take more than a week to have any effect on you, keep taking it until your next a1c test or if that is too far away I would suggest at least 12 weeks, then go back to your GP and let him know the results you have been getting, he will then do another a1c anyway. You will probably end up taking lantus as well as nova rapid or another fast acting insulin at meal times.
