Default debating on using the pump

I've been a t2 diabetic for 14 years now. In the past my primary doc has told me that I have the option of going on the insulin pump. At that time it scared me and I refused. Now, 8 years later and under different insurance, I want to talk to my new doctor about it. It seems like no matter what I do to lover my fbs or my after meal numbers, they seem so high and I beat myself up over it.

Now, would any of you suggest that I bring up going on the insulin pump? How would I bring such subject up? Any advice is welcome. On and I do use Levemir at night and humalog before meals.
