Oh I'm 55 type two , and I'm taking Metformin hcl 500 mg twice a day that's 100 mg a day and I'm not sure if I'm supose to take both of the at same time together or one in morning and one at night , she said if the pills don't work this time then I'll will have to start injecting insulin, I'm obese 270 lbs , I've got a Lapband but still can't lose Wieght . Like I said I'm new here and new at this testing stuff , I've got the freestyle lite if that makes any diff ? It's what they gave and doctor ordered I've got to go in for more blood test in a week then a week after the blood work up I go in and see the doctor again and go over the test . I've been seeing the doctor at least once a mth sometimes every two weeks ,, should I be worried ? Idk?

Welcome to the Forum!

Read through the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, when you get a chance, if you have not already done so. These threads will most-likely help you a lot. Self education is one of the keys to successful management of your diabetes, along with a healthy / sensible diet and exercise. Basically, diabetes requires a life-style change for the better. Good luck with your control and management.
