Default Grain free - Amazing control

I am very pleased to be on the road to much better health and incredible blood sugar control.
After 18 years diabetic, on many medications, over weight, I am reversing the trend.

Default 10 months later and feeling great

Hey All

Read and trust the results; Living Low-Carb as a result of Grain free and eating "Real" food (No Processed) has been the answer for my diabetes control.

I'm down another 15 lbs (in normal weight range now).

My doctors words "fantastic BS count, Low BP, Amazing Cholesterol"

Yes, I eat a High Protein, lots of good fats, Low Carb lifestyle and loving life.

Makes me mad to think the Standard Diabetes diet promotes high carb, low fat causing high BS, high Insulin, cholesterol, increased Blood Pressure, etc

and LOT's of medications to control it. Pharmaceutical companies paradise

Default Grain Free

I've been Type II for ten years and was supposed to be controlling with diet and exercise. My endo wanted me to live on his liquid drink that he markets and I refused. This month I decided to see a naturopath and she asked me to check my glucose many times a day. The first day I almost fainted when my fasting was 263. I have been grain and dairy free for 2 weeks now and my fasting has come down to about 140. Still a long way to go but it is a start. Right now I am battling what the naturopath thinks is a urinary tract infection (blood in the urine) and I am freaking out. I know stress can increase the numbers, so I'm hoping the additional supplements she has me on will help. Marlene
