Default New Diabetic

Hello, I'm a 28 year old married female newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Brand new to ALL of this, nervous, getting scared/paranoid and worried about my will power. I want to try though. I'll have my meter in a couple of days and I'm already on metformin 2 times a day. I love my husband and my animals and I work in a family practice residency clinic.

Welcome to the Forum!

Read through the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, when you get a chance, if you have not already done so. These threads will most-likely help you a lot. Self education is one of the keys to successful management of your diabetes, along with a healthy / sensible diet and exercise. Basically, diabetes requires a life-style change for the better. Good luck with your control and management.
