Default Hello.

I've been type 1/1.5 since 2001. A real red letter year.

I've believed since the beginning, that information is the best medicine. I used a Therasense Freestyle Tracker for the last 8 years and loved it for it's ability to log more than just BG and graph it. Unfortunately the company is no longer and BG monitoring systems seems to have been dumbed down a lot. I don't believe in managing my diabetes in the dark with my only physician being privy to the information I need to understand my illness.

I had to give up my Freestyle meter because my new endo can't pull the data from it so I've moved on to a One Touch Ultra2 and got myself an iPod Touch to log all the other data I wish to track. It's a little more work to have to manually enter my BG into it but everything alse is as it was before if not better.

Thanks for being here and I hope to contribute with a few ideas for improvements that would help me and hopefully others who like to be as hands on as I do.
