Welcome to the Forum!

I am sorry to hear that you are discouraged. I do not take Humolog as a fast acting insulin, currently I take Novolog. Therefore, I did do a search on side effects of Humolog and found this; "Other side effects include swelling of your hands and feet, low potassium in your blood (hypokalemia), and weight gain."

Have you talked to your doctor about changing your fast acting insulin to something else?

yep - I agree with Danny - there are other rapid acting insulins available for this particular reason... Novolog is one and Apidra is another. I would ask your Dr if those are options for you. Lasix isn't something you want to take long term to manage side effects of another drug. good luck!
