Welcome to the Forum!

I use a third party food app and it works really well for me.

Good luck with your control and management.

I am in complete agreement. I currently use a different app to track my carbs. It has a limited option for entering BG, just as GlucoseBuddy has a limited option for food. The ideal would be the best of both worlds. In order for me to track my glucose fluctuations with my detailed diet fluctuations requires some time and effort jumping back and forth. I would happily pay a premium for a GOOD, comprehensive and user-friendly application that would coordinate both diet, glucose & medications, and other health-related data, such as BP and even medical data.

I agree about the app would be better if it had a food database. I am disappointed to have paid 6$ for an app that cannot track food.

Would like to see an option to print and e-mail a report from the Web site.

I answered your previous post. Isn't asking the question once sufficient?

Default Some suggestions, and one question.

I have used Glucose Buddy for several years. It is an awesome program which really has assisted me in lowering my A1C from 8.9 to 5.7. I am a type 1 diabetic on an insulin pump. When I log my boluses on Glucose Buddy, I can only log 3 digits, or characters. For instance, if I have to take a 1.25 unit bolus, then on Glucose Buddy I have to log that I took 1.3, rather than 1.25 due to the fact that I can only log 3 characters. For people on insulin pumps, being able to input 4 characters would be much better.

One problem that I am encountering rather frequently now, and am not certain why is that when I attempt to sync my logs with Glucose Buddy, I tap on the Quick Sync icon on my iphone 5 and begin the sync. The little white wheel spins around and around beside the word that says that it is syncing, but it doesn't finish. It just keeps on going and going, and I eventually have to disconnect. When I am able to sync, a message will come up that it synced so many logs in just a few seconds, which is great. I just don't understand why I am so frequently unable to get my logs synced. It used to be easy, and it simply is not anymore. It anyone has any suggestions of what I might try, I would greatly appreciate it.

I am pretty sure that GB Support is aware of this problem, since I have mentioned it to them before. However, I don't know when it will be fixed or what that entails in the app coding.

I have had this problem as well. It is most-likely the number of users associated your with internet provider. When this problem happens; Have you tried disconnecting from you internet provider and using the 4G to sync your data?

From the "GB Help" thread;

Current Problems Noted After iOS 6.0, 6.0.1 and GB 3.7.0 Update Installation

Apparently they have removed the "Push Reminders" from the App.
