Yes, I read what is known as a discovery for treatment T2 diabetes. This is by drinking black tea with Cinnamon at large concentration with no added sugar. Actually it has a horrible taste , but for the first time I got a great result. However, the second and third time , i couldn't find any significant changes and I quit this trial when I read about the bad effect of drinking Cinnamon at high concentration, especially on liver and kidney. Yes, I still drink tea with very small quantity of Cinnamon on daily basis, and i had some improvement, but Cinnamon was not the only thing contributed to that improvement.

I am new and did some reading on the Cinnamon studies. I went with just the pill the doctor perscribed along with diet and that got from 240 in the morning to 180. I added cinnamon about 3 weeks ago (2x500mg pills) and got 137 this morning thats my lowest morning test ever.

I believe in the use of cinnamon. The research is not too strong yet with respect to lowering your A1C but there is some. Since it is not harmful to use the food grade then i figure there is no harm in trying. The info I read said it would take 4 months before a difference would be noticed. It worked for me. My A1C went from 6.9 to 6.3. I'll gladly take a drop in A1C. Lol! I take the capsules because although I like cinnamon, I don't want all my food to taste like cinnamon. Maybe speak to your dr too if you're concerned.

Works for me, I take the pills because I am not a fan of the taste on food. I did use the food spice for a few weeks and it worked pretty good.

I use cin daily. No sugar added cin on most food dishes during the day. Using it has aided me in eliminating salt from my diet thus losing even more pounds

I tried it for about three months. At first it did lower my numbers slightly but after a while that slight difference went away and it instead began to cause lower G.I. effects like constipation and nausea.
