Default new Type 2 patient

My sister-in-law is type 2 and also has a child-like mentality. We have been having trouble with very low BS levels between breakfast and lunch since we recently started checking. It is running from 41-70 about 2 1/2 to 3 hours after breakfast. Any help would be appreciated :-) Trying to find out as much info as I can. It also scares me because it is very hard to realize she is feeling bad. Thanks so much in advance :-)

Welcome to the Forum!

Read the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, when you get a chance.

It is really difficult to give advice, since we don't know if any insulin is being taken before or after a meal and what a typical meal consists of. My first thought was that a few more carbs should be added to the meal.
