not able to control sugar

I am using novolog insuring and 100g metformim. My a1c show 8. I do walk 2-3 hours day and 1 hour after dinner before sleep
What am I doing wrong?
I need help

It is difficult to determine what you are doing wrong without more information.

What does a typical meal consist of?
Are you counting carbs?

Read the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, when you get a chance. They may help you a lot.

Maybe your not eating enough, thus our liver produces glucose, raising your BG.
Are u also trying to lose weight?
