New Type 2 here
48 yr old just was diagnosed 9-28-12. FBS 227 & A1c 9.4 on 9-26-12. Have read through all the threads here - so much helpful Type 2 info. Diet & Metformin now 2 weeks OOB was 121 this morning. Met with nutritionist but thanks to reading online and this forum I was well educated at my visit. Lost 8 pounds so far but many many more to go... Thank you everyone for such generous sharing on the boards here!
