Default hi from Anaheim California

I have type 2 for year at first it was not bad I was only on pills then I got kidney cancer had to have one fourth of my left kidney remove now my a1c is a10 no matter what I do in the beginning I eat whatever I want now I am try to just eat salad and vegetables hopping it will bring it down

Welcome to the Forum!

Read through the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, when you get a chance, if you have not already done so. These threads will most-likely help you a lot. Self education is one of the keys to successful management of your diabetes, along with a healthy / sensible diet and exercise. Basically, diabetes requires a life-style change for the better. Good luck with your control and management.

It is me again I have stage 4 kidney disease along with type 2 my problem is that one doctor says to eat this and the other says don't eat that . I just don't know were to turn.
