Rather than trying to follow someone else's plan, just monitor yourself and eat what YOU like! I downloading a good food app (there are many listed here in the forum, personally I use Livestrong but I'm sure others work just as well). Now I check out the meal I plan to eat beforehand so I know what's good and bad before the menu tempts me. Tonight my wife and I are going out to eat so I checked out the menu on-line, looked up the various meals I liked, and quickly saw which ones were better for my diet which will make it much easier when we arrive (Benihana in this case). I find I still eat most everywhere but now I do it smarter. Results? I've lost 60 pounds since April (I also added a rigorous daily workout). Nothing special, no "plans" or fads - just cut back on carbs and calories and got off the couch!

Thanks for the info. I was basically looking at introducing new foods. I ended up downloading 2 programs (Fitday and Canadian Diabetes GPS). So I have tried some new veggies (eggplant, zucchini, and others). Some winners, some not so much. Lost 3.5 pounds in two weeks so I am pretty stoked that way. I noticed its not only what I eat, but the combination too.
