Ive been diagnosed with Acute pancreatitis since im 13y.o, and eventually my acute pancreatitis getting worst and turns into Chronic Pancreatitis. Ive been living with constant pain on day to day basis, but life must goes on. Doc tell me that my illness will lead to diabetes sooner or later, Im now 30, and already been diagnosed with diabetes since im 26, and im purely on unhealthy dieat and no glucose control whatsoever except having glucovance (metformin generic if im not mistaken) twice per day until recently my pancreas getting bad and now im on Insuline 4 time daily Insuline taken by pen injection, 3 times with actrapid and 1 time before bed with insulatad. Looking forward to have more knowledge and other forumers experience on how to control my diabetes from getting worst and living healthier life. ![]() |

Welcome to the Forum!
![]() Read through the first three threads in the Type 2 Section when you get a chance. Learn to count carbs, if you don't already do so. Good luck with your control and management. The are people here from all over the world. Look through the introductions, I am sure that you will find some.
