Default Diabetes and Brest Cancer

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in Feb. 2012. My surgar levels have been high during Chemo and radiation. The cancer was invasive. I am on metformin and lantus (10 units daily) The Dr says because my body has been under stress my sugars will be up and down. My radiation was completed two weeks ago and my sugars are still high. I see the Dr in three weeks. Any suggestions on how to get my sugar down?

I was also diagnosed with cancer last January 2012, and had chemo & radiation. Chemo treatments include lots of steroids to avoid alergic reations but brings up the blood glucose
keep track of your numbers before meals and 2 hours after, show your doctor, they will tell you what to do
