Default New and frustrated!

I was recently diagnosed with the most annoying disease: diabetes. I'm 23 and obese so it was something that was bound to happen. I began Weight Watchers 3 weeks ago and have lost 10.6 pounds so far. My BG levels have been high & I can't get them down to normal for the life of me & I'm getting frustrated and stressed! I am taking Metformin 850mg (2x daily) + Onglyza 5mg (1x daily) + insulin (as needed only before meals). I guess I'd better sign up for classes on how to control this.

Welcome to the Forum!

Congratulations on the weight loss. May I suggest that you learn to count carbs and implement that into your Weight Watchers diet. Read the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, they will help you a lot. Plus, counting carbs really works for people with diabetes. You may decide that this works best for you. Basically, having diabetes does not mean you have to starve, it just means that you need to eat healthier and exercise. Something we should all have been doing all along.
