Newbie!!!
I am new to Glucose Buddy!!! After a really big scare recently, I decided it was time to get more serious about tracking my Sugars. A couple of weeks ago, I had a stomach virus that let me throwing up alot. It started on a Sunday evening and continued thru to early Tuesday morning. Though I new better, my brain was telling me my sugar was ok cause I was not eating anything. BIG MISTAKE!! By the time my Husband got me to the E.R., my sugar was at 785. Very Dangerous. Luckily everything is ok now, that was a close call.
I am hoping this App will help me be better about keeping track of my levels. I am not very good at all this new fangled Apps, so I hope I can figure it all out. |

Uggghh !! Newly diagnosed, but have known I've had it for a few years and did NOTHING about it. stupid stupid stupid! It took the tingling and numbness in my feet to get me to the doctor. Started on the Metformin three days ago, along with some blood pressure medicine. Taking it very seriously now though. Counting my carbs, swimming laps in the pool, and laying off the alcohol. I have dropped 5 pounds in three days. So I guess better late than never, right? I've found this app to be a good way to track my BS, and be accountable to myself. Anyway, there's a lot of good insight and feedback on this forum, so thank you all. Any positive reinforcement or encouragement is always welcome. I wish everyone the best in this type to 2 fight.
