Default New to it all!

I am having an issue with elevated numbers. I was feeling bad and we had this tester in the house that a family member left awhile back during a visit. Well, I've been as high as 220+ and as low as 89. Average 133 over a few weeks.
I recently had my second epidural for a damaged disk in my back. A friend said the steroids used could throw my sugar levels off. Problem is, I saw the needle and it didn't look like much was put in that could affect me 7 weeks later!
Do I go to the doctor or continue the diet and exercise I started one week ago? I figure it might balance out soon.
Thanks

Welcome to the Forum!

I am glad that you took the initiative to test. Go to the doctor and have the lab work done, this way you will know for sure. Keep testing, Good Luck!
