bs 30
I was about to having a dinner at 11:30pm and my bs was 80- but all of the sudden (my friend told me who had dinner with me) I was talking nonsense and shaky heavily... And I couldn't walk so I laid on the floor, creeping... My friend called ambulance so they came and checked my bs and I was told that my bs was 35 that was why I was acting strange. They said that I could die alone if there was no my friend next to me.. Because when I was acting strange I couldn't move and talk but tremble.. Im scared... Really scared.. How could my bs drop from 80 to 35 in few mins? And by that time I was eating as well- any comments?

It takes about 15 minutes for food to raise your blood sugar level. The only thing that I can think of for the difference, would be an invalid test. Did you was your hands prior to testing? One of the biggest problems, that I see, with your situation is eating so late. You need to eat in ~4 hour intervals. If you must eat late, make sure that you have a snack to hold you over.

Thanks for your comment- actually I checked my bs which was 80 and I took a hot shower for ten mins and right after taking a shower I started to have a dinner however while having a dinner I felt my bs is dropping but I thought that since I'm eating it wont be a problem.. I was wrong after 20mins later ambulance came and I was unconscious.. Today I feel alittle bit better than last night but my bs for today is above 250 all day long.. How can I lower my bs again? This happening is my first time and I'm really scared like a hell...

By the way I have to get four shots with four meal a day.. I have a breakfast around 9-10am / lunch for 4-5pm/ dinner for 8-9pm and I go for another meal around 11-12 as soon as I get home from work.

Your blood sugar will come down, just keep doing what you have been doing. Don't forget to exercise and relax. Remember that stress will drive your blood sugar up!

Thank you all for the kind reply. I used to use humulin and After experiencing hypoglycemia I've changed my insulin and my bs level is back to normal however i felt like I'm jumping from the 20th floor every time I got my new insulin shot. Didn't like the feeling at all but since new insulin does work to maintain my bs to normal (from 100-140, bf meals) Im afraid of changing to humulin which didn't feel any when i get shot.

That had happened to me a couple of times also. Both times were right after I had my children and my hormone levels were not consistent yet (at least I think that is what did it).

If your having really hot showers it increases your circulation which in turn makes your insulin work faster. This happens to me all the time. Also eating at 11:30 is way too late for dinner. If you work late shifts you have to snack in between meals. Hope this helps.
