Question newbie with ? re syncing

Hi
I am a new user, a little confused re how to use the Glucose Buddy App.
Maybe there is a help file I have not yet found.
I have an iPad2 (no iPhone) so I have downloaded the App to the iPad from the App store and then paid for 2 of the premium add ons (for BP and wt and also the no ads).
Do I need the multisync since I am only using an iPad and my desktop iMac?
Is it best to enter my diabetic info plus BP/Wt on the iPad first, then sync it with the online My Diabetes part of Glucose buddy?
I realize there is not much in the way of support staff and I might have missed some intro instruction on how to use and sync the iDevice and the website, but if anyone can help me get started I would appreciate it.
TIA
Caroline
