T1, 20 years, Victoria, Australia
Hi I was diagnosed back at age 11, nearly 31 now. My endo is awesome, had him since the start. But he just told me he's retiring next month . I hate change, not looking forward to finding a new specialist at all i was his first patient when he opened up in my area.
He is pretty old though, probably looking forward to having some time to himself after all these years! |

Welcome to the Forum!
Hopefully your retiring doctor has already chosen someone to take over his practice. It may not be as bad as you think, if this is the case.

Thanks Dano! I hope he can recommend a new endo closer to where I now live, every time I have too see him, I lose half a day in commute & waiting room time!
