Hello all, I am a new member to the forum but have been using the GB app on my iPhone for a while. About 6 years ago I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and over the years my doctors have come to believe it is actually Type 1.5 due to the aggressive nature of my insulin and medication program. I take Novolog 3 times/day and Lantis before bed. I can't miss an injection or my numbers go crazy. Has anyone else been told they have Type 1.5 and do you know more information about this type? Thanks!!

I also check my sugar levels before and after each meal and again at bedtime.

I was originally diagnosed type 2 by my doctor then my consultant says no you're type 1 but one of the specialist nurses says I'm 1.5! So, I have no idea! I'm in England, I notice a lot of posts are state side. I am on insulin, novorapid and levemir. Christmas has wrecked my control and my readings have been way too high!
