Default Newly Diagnosed

I am 55 years old and newly diagnosed with diabetes. My Dr and I are going to try exercise and diet for a few weeks to see if we can get a handle on this. Does it work if you stick with it??? Input would be great. How has quitting smoking made a difference, if at all? Thanks!

Welcome to the Forum!

Yes, it works if you stick with it. Basically, it is a lifestyle change for the better.
