Default New User in Nebraska

I'm a new user from NE. Dx with Type 2 in early 2008 while under going chemotherapy/radiation. History of T2 in family. I'm 45yo female about 30lbs overweight Just started metformin 3 wks ago. I'm only taking 1/2 pill daily as i build up tolerance to side effects. My struggle is Dawn Phenom. A1C 5.97 (down from almost 7 at dx). BG throughout day is normal but AM averages 130-140. Look forward to any suggestions from others on what changes made impact on AM bg.

Welcome to the Forum!

Try a thirty (30') minute walk after dinner. Do a tag search on "walking" there is a lot of info in the T2 Section concerning this.
