Vivian;

Welcome to the Forum!

Sometimes we must task things that we would rather not. Diabetes is not easy, there is always testing, carb counting and shots for me. I have always told my son that it was just an inconvenience and that it could always be worse. Years later, when I was diagnosed, I had to use the same spill on myself and yes, it could have been much worse. Sometimes my advice is hard to follow, but it has worked for both my son and myself. Read the first three threads in the Type 2 Section, when you get a chance, if you have not already done so. They will help you get on track. Good luck with your control and management.
