Default Medications

As a recently diagnose type 2 I was prescribed Metformin and Glipizide. These drugs make me ill. So A few days ago I came down with a virus and couldn't keep anything down, let alone meds. I'm over the virus now for 5 days and have not gotten back on my meds. I'm eating right and my glucose has been 120ish. Is that a safe number or should I get back on my meds. I should add the meds made me crash too low frequently.

I would run all this by your doctor. Especially the "meds made me crash too low frequently" part. Remember that your doctor prescribed the meds to you for a reason.
