reactive hypoglycemia
Hi,
I was just recently diagnosed with having reactive hypoglycemia. I had Bariatric surgery January 2013. I've never had diabetes. I had several hypoglycemic episodes that landed me in the ER. One time it went down to 40 and I nearly passed out completely. This is all new to me, I was told to stay away from carbs. I'm eating healthy carbs only. Can anyone please guide me a bit. I'm very confused. Should I see my endocrinologist? |

Welcome to the Forum!
If you have hypoglycemia, you are going to have to eat something. You may need to eat several small meals trough out the day. I would see the Endocrinologist for guidance.
