Question Victoza

I was on metformin, and it seemed be successful – until my kidney started feeling. I was on Byetta for short time and then the dr switched me to victoza for about a year. In the last month my kidney function is dropped from 45% down to 25%. Due to a situation with my doctor who is on disability, the nurse practitioner three months ago said what ever. Anyway then I developed a new neuropathy actually I had about a year until I just understood what it was, or my food was not digesting and I started violently vomiting. Also I heard some things about victoza a causing renal failure which didn't make me very happy. I try to find another doctor but it's going take me a month to get into anyone. I totally went off the victoza of because it was no longer even coming close to helping me regulate my blood sugars, and they were averaging about 200 which I told the nurse practitioner. I went to to kidney specialist and he gave me some Januvia to take in the morning with my glipizide. right now I'm only taking glipizide with Januvia in the morning and my sugars fluctuate between 298 and then tonight they're 80. Any ideas?
