1. What two cities should be moved closer together?

Definitely Portland and New York City. It would be nice if my dream city and my family where just a tiny bit closer together instead of on completely opposite ends of the country.
2. What was the first plane ride you took?

I’m fairly certain I was an infant the first time I flew. My parents’ families are California, and we visited them a lot. I’ve been to California at least 20 times.

3. What continent would you most like to visit?

Australia. Which is weird since it’s also a country. Also Africa.

4. What’s your favorite place to window-shop?

Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, J. Crew. Which, sadly, are place I have difficulty affording most of the time. I’m still getting used to paying more than $12.99 for my T-shirts (hello, J.C. Penny’s!).
5. What’s the least fun you’ve ever had at a place specifically tailored for fun?

Ice skating or roller skating. I can’t skate to save my life, so getting on the rink is just about the most stressful experience I can put myself through.

6. You’re stuck on an island with plenty of food, a companion, and a relatively stress-free lifestyle. What do you say when the rescue ship comes?

“It’s about time!” I’m sorry, but there’s only so much entertainment *one* companion can provide me and even if the food was hand-delivered by well-trained monkeys who can dance and play the ukulele, I would still want to go home.

7. Which day of the week do you look forward to most?
I like every day. Every day has something different going on, whether it’s my favorite TV show, my church community group, a diabetes support group meeting, dinner with a friend, or just spending time with Erik. I don’t need to wait until the weekend to have fun!

8. What’s your favorite place to enjoy the great outdoors?
Oregon. You can pretty much doing anything outdoorsy there. Which I, unfortunately, am not, which is why I live on the other side of the country in Manhattan. But being in Oregon gives me a bit of street cred amongst the environmentalists.

9. What’s on your “to do” list this summer?
Enjoying the city! I only have 2 summer travel trips planned, and the rest of the time I plan on finally enjoying a summer in the city instead of spending every weekend gallivanting off to another destination. No Lemonade Life tour this year. I’m on hiatus!

10. Which natural disaster freaks you out the most?
Tornadoes. Only because they don’t seem like something you can prepare for. You can see most other disasters coming through radar, but tornadoes seem pretty out of the blue.
