I was diagnosed with type 1 when I was 12 years old. Diabetes has always been a big part if my life because my mother has it and 2 of my grandparents had it. I know and understand the condition but I often get those down moments when I think why me? I know that dealing with this for almost 13 years has made me a stronger person but sometimes I wish I could just give up!!
