Please help
I was diagnosed with prediabetes. And have to keep a food/blood sugar diary til next dr appt.
Yesterday i got a headache around 2:30, so I took fioricet after eating. It went away for about an hour, but came back worse. Around 6:30 pm I started feeling nauseated and my head was pounding. I tested my blood sugar as soon as I got home (7pm) and it was 76 (usually around 86-97 for me). I laid down with a cold rag on my head to try to get the headache to go away. At 7:25 I started vomitting stomach acid. Around 9:30 I was vomitting brown liquid and a lot of it. I did this til the early morning hours. My head continued to hurt. I got up this morning at 7 am and my blood sugar was 119 (highest it has been), then 97 at 10 am. I still have this headache. I have never vomitted brown liquid before like I did last night. Would this have anything to do with my sugar level and headaches? Do I need to go to ER/dr? Or could it have been just a virus? Im just worried, but don't want to overact. Thanks! Kimberly |
