Default new with questions

I was told I was pre diabetic due to my morning fasting results ranging from 100-115. I was told to test 3-4 times a day and keep a food log for the next mth.

This morning I tested at 6:30 and it was 115. After getting kids off to school I went to sleep for another hour and half, then tested again which was 96. Tested 102 at 10:15, drank a mountain dew, tested 84 2 hours later. Shouldn't it have went up?

I don't understand how any of this works. It only seems to be high in the morning after fasting.

Any advice or thoughts as to whats going on? I went to the dr for headaches and dizziness and that's when she said to keep a diary.

Thanks
Kimberly
