Default need help

Hi there-my name is Amanda. I am a type 1 diabetic, diagnosed about 8 years ago in 2003.

I was 15 when I was diagnosed. It was a huge life change for me. And honestly, I don't think I've ever truly accepted it.

I have never really had good control. My a1c is usually around 8 or 9. Recently it has been creeping higher. I don't know what it is that keeps me from being able to make the right choices, but for some reason I just can't get myself to get under control and do the things I need to to be healthy.

I was wondering if there was anyone else who may have had this kind of issue. I am looking for any advice anyone can give me. I need to get under control so I can get myself back to normal, healthy, and happy.

Thanks-
Amanda
