Default Health benefits of spices

People often think that fruits and vegetables are the only source in anti-oxidants ignoring the fact that spices are also abundant in anti-oxidants. Cinnamon is named the 'poer house' as it is rich in iron, calcium and manganese .Cardamom is the best stomach soother.Sweet fennel is the best source of vitamin C. Turmeric contains the anti-oxidant curcumin. Ginger, the wonder spice as it is used to treat colds, gastrointestinal problems and motion sickness. Garlic's reputation is for benefiting the cardiovascular system, lowering cholesterol, reducing blood clots.The health benefits of spices continue to be discovered. My favorite spice is garlic?
