Type 2 Pregnancy

Hello everyone, I am type 2 and I am having thoughts of how pregnancy goes, is it hard to be diabetic and pregnant? Or is it normal if you got the right care and treatment? Also I am on metformin so while pregnancy is it necessary to switch to insulin? Please let me know, anyone with experience. Thanks!
