Default Reminder Continuous alert

I like the alert feature in the app., but it takes too many step to set it. I think the alert should continue until you manually stop it. I have an iphone 3G and the overall volume of the phone is much to be desired. I also think the steps to set the alert should be as simple as choose reminders, type your info instead of using the accelerometer wheel and set. I think it should also have enable in the preferences what you usual postprandial BS check is and if you choose to use that time simply tap that butto and it's set automatically. I have also noticed a bug with the iOS4 upgrade on the iphone 3G. At times I can't get in to set the reminder. On the PUSH Reminders screen the little spinning wheel never stops spinning and I have to restart the or even restart my phone. Is anyone else having this problem?
