I'm 27 and just recently got diagnosed with type 2. I wasn't feeling well a few weeks ago and went to the doctor. My BG came back at 250 fasting. My doctor prescribed me metformin 500mg. Been taking them twice a day and my BG levels have been great. Ranging any where from 106-160. I'm feeling better,eating way better and staying active everyday. How likely is it for someone to control their levels w/o medication. Be advised I'm 5'7 weighing 173.
