Thumbs up Your Answer for Sugar

I see several posts from people wondering which soda to drink or how much sugar is safe. Well here is the answer... As for as all commercial soda.... NONE is best. If you are one of those people who psychologically needs a soda then you should get the "soda stream" and make your own. Almost all of the diet products on the market contain a poison called aspartame... (Nutra-Sweet, Equal... etc.) Please look at the ingredients before you ingest this stuff. I use Splenda in everything... Splenda under the generic name is called Sucralose. PLEASE continue reading... Replace all your sugar with this stuff, why because it is sugar. cook with it, bake with it... use it just as you would your regular suger... but remember it is 10 times sweeter than regular sugar, so you won't need to use as much! No funny after taste, and your body DOES NOT turn it into carbs...IT WILL NOT RAISE YOUR BLOOD SUGER LEVELS.. Table sugar - is called sucrose. In each molecule of table sugar there are: 12 carbon atoms, 22 hydrogen atoms, and 11 oxygen atoms. While the process to make Sucralose begins with sucrose, or table sugar, the final product is different from sugar. Sucralose is made by replacing three select hydrogen-oxygen groups on the sugar molecule with three chlorine atoms, resulting in an intensely sweet, no-calorie sweetener.
Unlike sugar, the body does not break down Sucralose into calories for energy. Yet, both sugar and Sucralose activate the same taste buds on your tongue. It is all natural, and actually better for your body than regular sugar. Absolutely no strange after taste like you get with Stevia or Nutra-Sweet. Speaking of Nutra-Sweet, let’s talk about this stuff.
Aspartame is metabolized in the body to its components: aspartic acid, phenylalanine, and methanol. Like other amino acids, it provides 4 calories per gram. Since it is about 180 times as sweet as sugar, the amount of aspartame needed to achieve a given level of sweetness is less than 1% of the amount of sugar required. Thus 99.4% of the calories can be replaced. Methanol is well known to be poisonous in large quantity. The food companies use Aspartame simply because it is cheaper. If you disagree with my findings, then do your own research. Don’t just believe what some website wants you to believe (EVERY website has its own agenda)... Your next question should be "Why is ASPARTAME not BANNED by the FDA.... and Why isn't Sucralose used instead of regular sugar for everything"????
