Default hypoglycimic night episodes

I have been such a good girl since I discovered I was diabetic in November. Low glycemic diet, weight loss, monitoring sugar, taking medications...I'm like a picture perfect diabetic. I got my A1C down from 13 to 6.7 in two months I've lost 12 pounds. My sugars stay below 120. Lately however I am waking during the evening with severe hypoglycemia. I mean sugars in the low 50's and I'm trembling and anxious and feel dreadful. I eat glucose tabs but it's everything I can do to get my suar back into a normal range before it's time for more medication...I'm having trouble understanding what I'm doing wrong. It's almost painful for me to eat when I'm like this. My husband always has to help me. I take janumet morning and night glipizide morning and night and Lisinopril for high blood pressure in the morning. It doesn't seem like an excessive amount of drugs considering my sugars were soaring in the high 400's just two months ago. Any advise?
